Jill Adams has a doctorate in psychology and has been a licensed psychologist for more than two decades. Originally from the Twin Cities, Jill attended Cornell College in Iowa where she obtained her undergraduate degree, and she received her graduate degree from Argosy University in Eagan, Minnesota.
“I enjoy helping people reclaim their lives from trauma and addiction; overcome depression and increase their ability to enjoy their lives. I like helping them to get to a place in their lives where they feel like they are capable of living the life they want to live.”
She focuses on mental health assessments and therapy of many kinds including therapy for families, couples, and individuals. Jill also treats patients for substance use issues, eating disorders and other addictions. She also treats patients with depression, anxiety, trauma issues and PTSD. Jill uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
Jill Adams treats patients from age 13 years old and up and she works at both of the Life Medical locations; St. Louis Park and Maplewood.
In her free time Jill likes anything to do with the water; kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding. She also loves traveling and playing with her two dogs.
