Dr. Jack Mutnick is a trained specialist in Internal Medicine as well as completing a fellowship in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and sees patients of all ages for Allergy and Asthma needs. Dr. Mutnick is also a certified Civil Surgeon seeing patients of all ages.

Dr. Mutnick graduated with Honors from the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Dr. Mutnick completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the University of California-Irvine then moved to Minnesota to complete his Internal Medicine residency training followed by an additional two years of fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Minnesota under the direct mentorship of Malcolm N. Blumenthal, M.D., and many other highly accomplished allergists / immunologists.

Dr. Mutnick has a long standing interest in allergy, asthma and immunology. Born in a family with many members suffering from asthma and allergies, he is strongly motivated to help people with allergic diseases and asthma. Dr. Mutnick has continued his years of training by assimilating real-world clinical research into his everyday clinical practice. Dr. Mutnick has been published in multiple publications related to allergy, asthma and immunology. Dr. Mutnick has done cutting–edge research in drug allergies, challenges, desensitization’s and testing protocols. He is widely published for the development of “Standardized Order Sets” for antibiotic desensitization’s as well as Aspirin/NSAID challenges and desensitization’s.

Dr. Mutnick is specialized in diagnosing and treating allergic and immunological diseases, including rhinitis (hay fever and other non-allergic symptoms), sinusitis, asthma, food allergy, atopic dermatitis (eczema), drug allergy, stinging insect allergy, urticaria (hives) and angioedema (swelling under the skin), contact skin allergy (contact dermatitis), and primary immunodeficiency. Dr. Mutnick is certified to see both adults and children (down to newborn).

Dr. Mutnick performs allergy testing, asthma evaluation and immunologic evaluations, and provides evidence-based medical consultations and treatment. Dr. Mutnick believes that effective care comes from excellent bedside manner, effective communication and patient education, which is achieved through the partnership between the physician and the patient.
