Good Advice On: Covid, Vaccines, Bach Flower Remedies

Advice for Treating a New Covid-19 Variant

“Recent reports claim that there is a new COVID-19 variant in circulation,” says Dr. Jacob Mirman. “It is not particularly dangerous, but one of the major symptoms is a very severe sore throat.”

“While I have not seen a case in the clinic yet, this type of condition is the kind that is amenable to homeopathic treatment.”

“I can treat patients with this variant with a phone appointment, and I will prescribe a remedy as indicated. The remedy can then be purchased locally in one of the stores that sell homeopathic remedies, such as Whole Foods or Present Moment. Patients can also access the remedy from our clinic at no charge. The phone consultation is covered by the patient's insurance.”

Dr. Jacob Mirman’s Opinion on Vaccinations

“At Life Medical, our clinic performs a large quantity of vaccinations,” says Dr. Jacob Mirman. “Some people are unsure if they are safe. There is a lot of information online about a possible association between vaccinations and health problems, such as autism and others. Both pro- and anti-sides are quite passionate, so finding balanced information is often difficult.”

“Here is my take on this subject: In 30 years of administering thousands of vaccines per year in our clinic I have never seen a case of severe side effect in even one of our patients. Some patients have experienced shoulder pain for a few days, but that’s the extent of it.”

“However, I have seen several patients who have indeed reported severe side effects; all of whom got their vaccines at other clinics.”

The patients reported the following side effects:

  • Several kids becoming autistic within 24 hours of the shots
  • A case of vasculitis that led to a stroke in a 14-year-old boy immediately after an intranasal flu vaccine
  • Tinnitus (noise in the ears) in a person after a COVID-19 vaccine
  • New onset of type 1 diabetes immediately after a COVID-19 vaccine in a young woman

NOTE: “I want to make it clear that these were all reports I could not corroborate.”

“Currently, there is a lot of turmoil at the CDC. Some of this turmoil is due to the recently disbanded vaccine board and the subsequent setup of a new one (which was not to the liking of the medical establishment). The new board wants to investigate the incidence of autism after vaccinations.”

“I feel that these investigations regarding vaccines are a good thing,” continued Dr. Mirman. “The researchers will sift through the data and develop some conclusions. We will have more clarity on this issue in the end. I am hoping they will find no correlation between autism and vaccines and that the public will be reassured. But if a correlation is found, that information will also be extremely useful.”

Great Results from Bach Flower Remedy

“In the last month, my patients have experienced very good results from Bach Flower Remedies,” says Dr. Jacob Mirman. “In particular with anxiety/panic disorder.”

“I gave patients samples of a combination Bach Five Flower Remedy to take when particularly anxious. In most cases, it worked very well. In my experience, it works quickly on anxiety/stress; within about 10 minutes in more than 50% of cases.”

“The patients were impressed; many came back and got a full bottle. For some patients, I also prescribed a special combination more fine-tuned to their case with the goal of resolving the problem more permanently.”

“In several cases, the remedy helped their background anxiety level and reduced their need for Five Flower Remedy. I expect further improvement for all these cases.”

IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION ABOUT FORM N-648 Form N-648 (Medical Certification for Disability Exceptions) allows certain applicants to request an exemption from the English and/or civics requirements for U.S. naturalization due to a qualifying medical condition. A key point to understand: Any licensed medical doctor (MD or DO) or clinical psychologist may complete Form N-648. The provider does NOT need to be a USCIS-designated civil surgeon to complete Form N-648. Civil surgeon certification is only required for Form I-693 (Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record) and does not apply to N-648 disability waivers. What matters most is that the evaluating provider: Is properly licensed Has sufficient medical expertise Clearly explains how the patient’s condition prevents them from meeting naturalization exam requirements Completes the form accurately and in accordance with USCIS standards WHAT IS FORM N-648 AND WHY DOES IT MATTER? Becoming a U.S. citizen requires passing a naturalization exam that includes English proficiency and U.S. civics knowledge. For some individuals, physical, developmental, or mental impairments make it impossible to meet these requirements. Form N-648 provides a lawful medical exemption for applicants whose condition prevents them from learning or demonstrating the required knowledge. Approval depends on clear, thorough medical documentation , not on the provider being a civil surgeon. WHO MAY QUALIFY FOR AN N-648 MEDICAL WAIVER? USCIS requires evidence of a legitimate medical condition that directly interferes with the ability to meet exam requirements. Common qualifying conditions include: Dementia or age-related cognitive decline Traumatic brain injury Stroke or cerebrovascular disease Intellectual or developmental disabilities PTSD, schizophrenia, or severe depression Neurological conditions affecting memory or language Medication side effects that impair cognitive function Each case is evaluated individually. The critical factor is demonstrating the functional impact of the condition on learning, memory, or communication. WHY THE QUALITY OF THE MEDICAL EVALUATION MATTERS USCIS officers review N-648 forms carefully and often critically. Applications may be denied if: The explanation is vague or overly technical The connection between the diagnosis and exam limitations is unclear Documentation does not adequately support the condition The form fails to anticipate common USCIS concerns A well-prepared evaluation explains complex medical issues in plain language and directly addresses how the condition prevents exam completion.
